Doing the screening test at the beginning of the training, having another test at the end of the training and a follow up test after few months to see if the training was successful

Questionnaire is in English language, which means the trainer will need to be familiar with English Language

Evaluate children working memory skills before starting using the resource Memory Quest Flex for training their Working Memory Skills and after the training. Also, you can use this recourse just to have an indication if the child has difficulties with working memory skills as a part of your assessment procedure.

Student show improvement in the results on the screening test and he less difficulties on the areas of: 1.Completing tasks on his own. 2. Recalling what he need to do or what to say. 3 He is more focus during an activity. 4. His more confident on dealing with complex task.5. He minimize the frequency of doing errors such us write the same phrase twice etc.

The trainer will assess the working memory skills of the children using this "working memory screening test tool" before the beginning of the training at the end and during the training and will compare the results and will use this information to make the necessary customization on his training. To give emphasize on the skill needed to train more.

The user need to rate each statement form 1 to 5 from Do not agree at all (1) to Strongly agree (5) the rate from 1 -5 might not be very clear. In case another trainer need to continue the training its not so clear what someone value as 2 or 4. Another rating system might be more clear.
Expected results on implementation of the resource

Children are able to demonstrate better results comparing the screenings during their training.

Level of concentration and memory skills and competencies of children.
E.g. By observing the children in the class you see that they have make improvement and feel more confident participating in the class. Also running the activities on the software they are showing better results and this has a direct effect in their life.

- Pre-assessment of aforementioned skills and competencies, post-assessment immediately after the end of the training and final assessment a few months later.
- Use the screening test to compare the results from the first training week with results from the last week of training.

After the first screening at the beginning you need to schedule when it would be the second and what you expect as outcome in order to see if the training was effective or need amendments.

1. Setup the training environment, whether at school of at home. Any involved teaches is assumed to be aware of how to use the resource.
2. Pre-assessment of the children concentration and memory skills and competences.
3. Execution of the training, having the children using the resource in frequent pre-set intervals.
4. Continues assessment of the aforementioned skills and competences and collection of feedback from the resource functionality and the children himself/herself.
5. Post-assessment of the aforementioned skills and competences.
6. Final assessment of the aforementioned skills and competences.
Objectively verifiable indicators of achievement: (What are the means required to implement these activities, e.g. personnel, equipment, training, studies, supplies, operational facilities, etc.)
You will need to have access to printer in order to print the screening form.
For the training of the child you will need:
Memory Quest Flex Software and Internet access. Option to buy and install a desktop/native version if desirable.
A device, e.g., PC, Mac, Tablets.
The children is pre-trained on how to use the resource.
A teacher/facilitator if the resource is used in a formal education setting.

The difficulty of the exercises is automatically adjusted according to the person performance, so that the demands on working memory are always at an optimal level. The total training period will be 5 to 7 weeks from 25 min to 45 depends on the purpose of the session.
The resource provides functionality to collect information about its use by a children.
The teacher will be collecting the information and recording using offline means.

Training staff cost for 35 hours
Risks and Challenges: (What pre-conditions are required before the use of the resource starts? What conditions outside the user's direct control have to be met for the implementation of the planned activities?)
Make sure that the children and the involved teachers have basic ICT skills before this training starts. More important to have mouse usage skills. If not, use a software to train for mouse using skills, before starting with this resource. Use track ball mouse or joystick if the children/teacher has difficulties using the traditional mouse.
